Condolence: So sorry to hear of Vera's passing. I first met Vera when I started off as a Nursing Professor from Howard Community College, here at Howard County General Hospital. She had such peace within her, engaging and was very active in enabling that my students and I got off to a great start on 1 North Psych unit where I now manage.
May her perfect soul rest in peace.
Condolence: Back in the summer I saw Vera walking into work. That was where we usually met. She was all smiles and asked about work and if I was still loving it! We exchanged a few words and she shared that she had been ill but was on the up swing. I didn't question her but said she looked radiant and we went our separate ways. I was so shocked to here of her passing. As a new grad nurse almost 10 years ago, Vera was my sounding board, confidant, and encourager. The community of HCGH has lost an outstanding nurse and mentor. My deepest condolences to her family, she was an amazing woman.
Condolence: So sorry for your loss. It saddens me to hear of Vera's passing, but helps to know that she is at peace and reunited with her girls (her dogs). I met Vera when I first started at HCGH as a new grad. She was a wonderful woman with a kind heart. I have fond memories bantering back and forth with Vera about HER Steelers and MY Ravens and who did what. She will be greatly missed. Continuing to keep the Tolkacevic family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Sincerely, Ashley Anderson
Condolence: Steve and Steven,
I have such wonderful memories of Vera. She was my colleague, best friend at work, quilting buddy, knitting consult and most importantly, a very dear and loving personal friend. She will be missed greatly.
My prayers are with you!
Condolence: To the Tolkacevic Family : Vera was a very kind, compassionate, gentle and very loving person. Where I am today,it would not have been possible without Vera's kindness. I am honored and blessed to have Vera as my mentor. She was truly a blessing in our lives, and will be truly missed. May the Good Lord give you all comfort, strength and peace during this hard time. But we do have a hope in the resurrection, to see Vera again at Our Christ 2nd coming. You all are in our personal prayers.
We’re very saddened for your loss and we’re asking for God’s support throughout this tough time. We are certain that she had gone to a better place where there is no more pain or suffering. We are praying for you and the entire family, may the Lord have mercy on her soul.
