The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Vezzi can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Linda & Lynn Zeller
Condolence: Our neighborhood has lost a friend and a motivation to keep our yards looking good! Dave was so energetic, creative and generous with his garden harvest. We will truly miss him and sorry our time together was so short. God's peace and comfort be with you, Dave.

Condolence: As a science teacher, Mr. Vezzi was a rare gem. And if you told him that, he would probably tell you which gem he would prefer to be, and whether it evolved from igneous, metamorphic, or sedimentary rock. Deepest sympathies to the Vezzi family for your irreplaceable loss. May Dave's spirit live on in the memories of his family, his many friends, the athletes he coached, and his former students.

Prayers and healing thoughts, Shannon

Condolence: I had Mr. Vezzi for Earth and Space Science in the Spring of 2003 during my Freshman year. I remember walking into his class for the first time and being really intimidated. He was so straight-faced, he hardly cracked a smile, and he seemed like a very unfriendly teacher that would make class unbearable.......but my first impressions were incorrect. I had already loved Science, but he was the type of teacher that could make anyone enjoy it. He was very serious about it, but always made class entertaining and engaging. I looked forward to his class every day! When it was time to start selecting classes for next year, I asked him if he also taught Biology, but unfortunately, he had replied that he didn't. I would have requested a class with him every year if it had been possible because he was that great of a teacher! Every teacher should strive to be like Mr. Vezzi. I don't personally know any of his family members, but I wish you all strength during this difficult time. -Ryan

Condolence: Heaven gained a beautiful Angel. Mr. Vezzi was the best teacher my kids ever had. He made class fun and interesting. I never heard my kids talk about another teacher like they did Mr. Vezzi. He was very special. Please cherish your memories as he was a wonderful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
