Have known Cathy since I was in high school. When I think of Cathy over the years one of the words that comes to mind is passion. She didn’t just care about something she was passionate about it. Cathy loved all living things; I will never think of her without thinking of her animals. Cathy was always working to find homes for abandoned or homeless animals, mainly cats but sometimes dogs and most famously a pot-bellied pig! Kyle and Kate will forever remember that one! One of the biggest gifts that Cathy gave her family was time. Getting to spend time with her in these last few months was a precious gift. I will always remember her waking up to blow kisses to Evan, listen to Kate read from her kindergarten journal, and smiling at Kyle telling him “I love you, too.” In her words to Evan, “see you later alligator…” we will miss you but we know you are watching over us all.
